Dr. Taras Roud

Dr. Taras Roud is a highly respected and well-loved figure in the community, known for his exceptional expertise and compassionate care. Since beginning his practice in 2003, Dr. Roud has performed thousands of root canal treatments, earning the admiration of his patients for his caring chairside manner, remarkable patience, and skill in delivering painless injections. His ability to make patients feel comfortable and confident during what can be a daunting procedure has made him a favorite among those he treats.

Dr. Roud pursued his DMD at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where his academic excellence earned him a place on the Dean's List and induction into the OKU Honor Dental Society, recognizing his outstanding achievements in dental scholarship, professionalism, and ethics. He then completed his specialty training in endodontics at the same institution.

After practicing as an associate in Aventura, Florida, Dr. Roud established his own full-time practice in Wellington in 2003. In addition to his practice, he served as an adjunct clinical instructor for the postgraduate endodontic program at Nova Southeastern University, further solidifying his commitment to the field.

Dr. Roud is also at the forefront of using advanced technologies in his practice, including GentleWave, to enhance the cleaning of the root canal system and achieve outstanding outcomes for his patients. A Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, Dr. Roud is dedicated to delivering high-quality endodontic care rooted in scientific, evidence-based practices. He emphasizes the use of modern techniques and materials in diagnostics and treatment, ensuring that his approaches are both safe and successful. Dr. Roud also believes in making dental care comfortable and affordable for his patients.

In his spare time, Dr. Roud enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and collecting writing instruments.

 

Dr. Lesleigh Payne

Dr. Lesleigh Payne was born and raised in Wellington, FL, where her early passion for the arts led her to attend Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos School of the Arts. However, it was during her time at the University of Florida in Gainesville that she discovered her true calling in dentistry. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, she pursued her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, where her interest in endodontics took root.

Dr. Payne found immense satisfaction in the field, particularly in relieving patients from pain and restoring their health. Graduating with honors, she continued her journey at the University of North Carolina, where she earned her Master’s degree and Certificate in Endodontics. Her leadership and dedication were recognized when she was elected Chief Resident during her 3-year residency.

Since joining our practice in 2018, Dr. Payne has become a beloved figure among our patients. Her efficiency, expertise, and warm personality have helped her build strong relationships with many who walk through our doors. Despite the irony of her last name, which often brings a smile to her patients' faces, Dr. Payne’s approach to endodontics is all about minimizing discomfort. Her first name, Lesleigh, often leads to a chuckle when patients realize that with her, it's truly "less pain."
